I just found out some good news...and some bad news.

Bad news first: For the first time since 1999, Jill Tracy (and The Malcontent Orchestra) will not be touring with their Nosferatu score! It was a Halloween tradition. That show was always packed...and amazing. (Last year, they even had a secret show in an abandoned Victorian asylum.) I guess we'll have to settle for her Nosferatu CD this season.

Good news: The reason Jill Tracy had to bow out of Nosferatu this year, is that she will be making her theater debut...acting in classic Grand Guignol 1920s horror plays!! That's a good a reason as I can think of for missing the vampire!

Check out the website for the show. "Welcome to the Hypnodrome"

Great poster of her! I hear they will be for sale at the shows.
It sounds like an intriguing event. I knew Jill had been acting in film and making short films over the past couple of years. Now live theatre. This is cool!!

It was a private event, where Jill Tracy and The Malcontent Orchestra were hired to perform...The asylum was recently purchased, after standing empty for decades, and before the new owners decided to remodel the thing...they planned the grandest Halloween bash they could think of. We were lucky enough to be invited! Pretty packed...maybe 400-500 people...five floors! Long, dark hallways still had numbered doors! Spooky.
